"Student nurse"

About: Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital / Medical Paediatrics (Children's Medicine)

(as a service user),

We met student nurse Josie when we came onto the RACH ward briefly last week and today she was working our “hot” side. She is a fantastic asset to the hospital and I could not fault her at all. All day we watched her running around with the other staff nurses yet ensuring our care was still the priority. She made my child felt comfortable and happy and always did it with a smile on her face. She was so helpful and brightened up our day!

Hi Aberdeenmum81, thank you for taking the time to write about your experience in the children's hospital. It sounds like Josie really did a fantastic job for you and your daughter. Its great to hear when student nurses make such a difference in the area that they are working and learning in. I will pass on your feedback to Josie and to her mentors so that she knows how helpful she was to your daughter. Thanks again.
