A very big thank you to all at Darwen Healthcare for my visit last month (May - for bloods). The HCA drew blood painlessly and reassuringly, and your receptionist was equally reassuring.
As a senior shielding citizen who only leaves home for his complex medical status to be treated, it was so reassuring to get a call from the practice asking if we could rearrange the appointment - or was the time still convenient for me ? It was, and in addition I needed to see a GP.
The team’s flexibility in fitting in that GP appointment at the same time was very much appreciated by me.
Not forgetting all the other staff behind the scenes who care for us there - thank you all for creating a space which felt very, very safe.
I feel fortunate indeed in being a patient with such a caring practice.
