"A recent visit to A&E"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

Last Thursday evening, 4th June, I felt unwell and passed out. The paramedics arrived and did various tests. It was decided that I should go To Treliske for further tests.

I would like to say from the arrival of the paramedics to my being told I could go home, a period of about nine hours, my experience of the treatment I received was excellent. The staff were very professional and kept me in formed of what was happening, so ten out of ten!

Thank You all very much.  You do a great job.

Dear Wood Sawyer,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us, please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to you on here. I was pleased to read that although you had a lengthy visit to our Emergency Department, you experienced excellent treatment from our professional and informative staff.

I am responding to you as a member of the Patient and Family Experience team here at the Trust, but I will ensure that I shared this feedback with the team in the Emergency Department - I am sure they will be very happy to receive it.

Best wishes,

Jess
