"Rude receptionist - ruining this Sugery"

I’ve been considering leaving this practice for some time, mainly due to the rude and unprofessional receptionist that is employed by this Practice. There are other receptionists, and their standard is very good, just this one person causing humiliation and anger. The GPs are very good in general. I hope these reviews are taken seriously and read / acted upon by the management of this surgery; you need to sort out the ‘bad apple’ within your reception staff and ensure they’re properly trained to carry out their job politely to me (and others - the ‘customers’). Also, when calling it’s also very unprofessional to have the telephone answered by a voice saying “can you hold the line please”. Really? Please consider employing the use of an answering service if you cannot answer your calls, or having a brief message on the line to let a caller know their call is acknowledged and their position in the queue.
