"Caring for a patient with LD"

I am writing on behalf of an individual in which I care for, this individual was diagnosed with Grade 3 breast cancer in March 2020, they also have severe learning disabilities and other health related concerns.

The individual was diagnosed at Lincoln County Hospital amidst the coronavirus pandemic, the staff at the Breast clinic have been superb throughout, they have been patient focused from the very beginning and despite her complex needs have put her at the forefront of all decisions, they have been respectful and extremely supportive to the care staff who were involved in the after care of this individual.

They always consulted the people who knew her best and adapted their approaches to ensure her needs were met at all times. This has been a very scary time for every one especially navigating the way through the operation and  managing the pandemic. They have been responsive to her needs and have provided an excellent remote support process.
