"COVID-19 social prescriber contact"

About: The Penrhyn Surgery

I had a call today from the COVID-19 social prescriber to see how I am coping as an extremely vulnerable person. She was both really friendly and very professional. Although I don't need any help (apart from a vaccine!) I can see it is a really good service that the local health authority has set up and would be especially useful for people needing mental health or social support. Excellent.

Thank you for the kind words. I am delighted to hear that you had such a great experience interacting with our Social Prescriber. We are trying to support and help our patients who are currently isolating or shielding due to Covid-19. We know this can be very difficult and I'm glad to hear that our Covid-19 support team was able to accomplish that for you. I will definitely relay that message to our social prescriber and the rest of the team.
