"Social Distancing"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill)

I recently attended a routine ultrasound test which went very well. I was however astounded at the lack of social distancing among the staff in the corridors. It was as if there were multiple social gatherings going on and hardly a mask in sight. I felt very uncomfortable. Maybe all had tested negative but this is a point in time test.I now fully understand why people may feel nervous about attending appoinments.

Thank you for your comments. To reassure you we have now introduced a number of measures to strengthen social distancing including one entrance in and another out plus directional signage particularly in the corridors. We are also doing a piece of work to understand better what would make patients feel safe when they come to our hospitals. I will of course feed in your comments. Thank you for taking the time to comment.
