About: Coathill Hospital / Old age psychiatry

(as a relative),

I would just like to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to all the staff on glen more ward at coathill hospital. Especially Leanne, Paula and carol Anne who have looked after my great uncle and catered for his every need. they have went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable, settled and during this time where we cannot visit they have kept us fully informed every day. I would like to personally thank the staff nurse Leanne who we have built up such a relationship with. What a fantastic nurse and especially when she had to call to break that horrible news to us she was so sympathetic and caring. we will be forever in your debt. Couldn’t recommend this unit and the staff enough.

Dear LauraW,

Thank you for taking the time to commend Leanne, Paula and Carol Anne, for the professionalism, care and compassion that they showed to your great uncle and your family. It will mean a lot to them to receive your heartfelt thanks.

The staff strive to build a good rapport with the people they care for, as well as their families, which obviously presents it's own challenges at the moment with restricted visiting.

I hope you sharing this experience will provide some comfort and assurance for other people with loved ones who may be in the ward.

The Senior Management Team will share your feedback with the team and the staff you've mentioned.
