I would like to thank you for the care my elderly father received during his final few days before passing away earlier this month in Ward 5, Wexham Park Hospital. We were obviously unable to visit but we talked with him frequently and he spoke about the great care he was receiving and kindness of the staff. We spoke daily with the doctors/nurses looking after him and they were happy to provide updates on his condition without us feeling rushed. When his condition deteriorated we were allowed to visit him, which turned out to be the day before he passed away and all the staff on the ward, including physios and orderlies, seemed to be aware we were coming in, helping us with our masks etc, and left us undisturbed to spend time with our Dad. This meant so much to us. We are extremely grateful for the professionalism, respect and kindness he received by all the staff. An excellent representation of the NHS.
"Exemplary care with kindness"
