We joined this surgery about 6 years ago after relocating to the area. We have always found the Receptionist's very helpful, both on the phone and in person. They are very busy and under pressure, but certainly not rude. I do find that generally, If you treat people with respect, it's often reciprocated so be nice!
The Doctors I have seen have always taken the time to listen to my concerns and work out the appropriate treatment with me.
It is true that you can't always get an appointment immediately, but you do always get a call from the Duty Doctor to discuss the problem and if they feel you need to be seen, you will be asked to attend. I am more than happy with the way this works and it's more than other practices offer.
Sometimes the phone rings for ages and sometimes you are on hold for a while and sometimes you can't get what you want, when you want it, but isn't that just life?!
