Hello I have hyatius hernia for almost 15 years .
Basically severe acid reflux.
For several years the medication is not helping my condition and i am taking more tablets than prescribed.
My gp referred me to the specialist at leicester royal infirmary during the year 2016 and i was told that i will need corrective surgery.
It is now may 2020 and i have not been given a appointment as yet.
Recently I asked my gp to make me another referral and when i was seen by a registrar specialist consultant doctor at the Leicester royal infirmary, he was shocked as to why i have not received appointment since 2016 as clearly i am a perfect candidate for the operation these were his words.
So finally have been put on the waiting list because of lack of beds even though the hospital forgot me since 2016.
Horrible and disgusting.
