Following major open-heart surgery, my GP has not bothered to see me for any followup since. Recently, a 'paramedic' did a 'medication review', and most of the medication I take was not even mentioned - I just left with a prescription for statins. I feel neglected and my Heart Surgeon was shocked that I had not even been reviewed by my GP.
