"My Opinion of the music group for service users"

About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Aldershot

(as a service user),

As a service user at inclusion I was encouraged to take part in several groups that where taking place at Aldershot inclusion and one of which is a music group, I really enjoy this group and look forward to attending as it gives me opportunity to engage with other service users and develop my music skills within a group, I find it very therapeutic and relaxing and we all support each others input regardless of what musical skill level, everybody can participate, it is organised very well by the key worker who starts the session with breathing exercises and a musical warm up to get us all in the right frame of mind, I really benefit from the whole therapeutic process and we have made some really good sounds

Thank you for your recent post. I am delighted that you are participating in some of the groups at the Aldershot Hub as part of your recovery.

I am also glad that you are finding the music group of benefit to you and you find it a supportive and therapeutic environment. It is a positive step in recovery to engage in activities which interest you and where you are able to connect with others and have some fun!

I wish you all the very best in your continued recovery and would encourage you to attend the group once it is up and running again and is safe to do so.

I will pass on your feedback to the Aldershot Team.

Keep safe.
