Referred here for a colonoscopy during the Corvid virus. On arrival I was treated really well, checking me in and pointing me in the right direction. From arrival into the Endoscope Unit, every member of staff who I came into contact with gave reassurance, were polite, helpful and made me feel at ease. This all during the difficult conditions they are having to work in.
The examination only took about 20-30 minutes explaining what would happen and once again making me feel at ease. After the exam I had everything explained to me and then shown to the recovery room where a nurse explained the discharge letter and what I should be aware of. After a cup of tea and biscuits (having not eaten for 24 hrs) I was shown the way out.
Overhaul a pleasant experience (no sedation due to driving myself there) high praise to the staff for being so caring, respectful and helpful during an intrusive examination.
"Excellent care."
