I visited this service today, having received an appointment within a week of having a phone consultation with a breast surgeon over concerns over a lump. In 40 minutes, I had a mammogram, check by a breast surgeon and ultrasound, all conducted with the utmost professionalism and kindness, even in the highly stressful circumstances of the Covid crisis.
