"Maternity care"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Gynaecology West Cornwall Hospital (Penzance) / General medicine

(as the patient),

Whilst on holiday in July 2019, I was taken ill with stomach pains.  I used the 111 service to access out of hours

Care at Penzance Hospital where it was confirmed that I was pregnant.  The doctor referred me to

EPU clinic at Treliske, where a scan showed that I was 8 weeks pregnant.

My darling son is now 10 weeks old and I would like to thank the staff for their support and

care in the early stage of my pregnancy.

Dear Sarah A,

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments regarding your care at the EPU clinic in July last year. Please accept my apologies for the delay in replying to you, as you can imagine we are quite busy at the moment. Congratulations on the arrival of your son.

I have forwarded your comments to the matron of the EPU clinic here at Treliske, who will pass your feedback to the relevant staff.

Kindest regards

Laura Fletcher
