"Inconsiderate receptionist "

About: Dr Arora Rk

My sister called the surgery due to having an ear infection which was diagnosed by the walk-in centre due to the surgery having no appointments as usual. She was advised to call her GP as it could be suspected Malaria, she rang the GP whilst struggling to talk and found the receptionist to be very inconsiderate. The receptionist did not seem to care or take the advice of any qualified medical professional instead stated if she wanted to see or speak to anyone today to return to the walk-in centre or call 111. Bearing in mind my sister barely managed to call to then be dismissed by a receptionist who didn't really bother to listen to her or her concerns despite being told that the Mosquito bites she received whilst on holiday had also caused an infection was very disappointing as we registered with this practice after hearing good reviews. Lets hope the receptionist is never told she could have Malaria and is dismissed by someone herself.

I am sorry you felt your sister had not been dealt with in the proper manner. However, staff had tried to contact your sister directly and left several messages for her to call the surgery but to no avail. If you still feel you want to discuss this further, please don't hesitate to contact the surgery.
