"Stour Surgery comes up trumps yet again"

About: Stour Surgery

I am a patient at Stour Surgery. I have my 3 year old granddaughter staying with me for 1 week from Farnham as her parents are abroad on business. When my daughter handed her over to my care on Saturday she said that the little one had a raised rash under her chin that she had had diagnosed at her local pharmacy as a fungal rash and was given Caneston cream to apply 3 times daily. I followed these instructions but today having applied it after lunch I noticed that instead of any improvement it in fact looked worse so decided to walk to the surgery and hopefully get some advice at 14.00 this afternoon. The receptionist was as always most helpful and after gaining information from me invited me to take a seat in the waiting room and that a doctor would see her. Within 10 minutes I was sat with the doctor who diagnosed my granddaughter with impetigo, explained to me what that exactly was, assured me not to worry and wrote a prescription for antibiotic cream to treat the complaint. Assuring me that I could come back anytime if it isn’t healing. What a fantastic service, I couldn’t praise this team any higher. I am most grateful to be a patient here. Thank you.
