About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Medical Oncology

(as the patient),

I am recieving chemotherapy at the Day Unit Ward 18 Hairmyres Hospital South Lanarkshire.

This involves a 5hr visit. I'm currently on my 3rd visit. 

From the the first visit I have been so impressed with all the staff in the unit. Professional, friendly, very knowledgeable, and empathetic. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable. No delays and medications ready to take home. Excellent unit, excellent staff..thank you.

I know the team work really hard to ensure they deliver first class treatment and care and they strive to create comfortable conditions and establish a great rapport with the people attending the Unit. It's always good to hear that a service is efficient as well!
