I’ve had COVID 19 and called 111 day 5 when symptoms suddenly worsened. The service, advice and support I received was incredibly good. I had never used this service previously and didn’t know what to expect. Quite frankly the people I spoke to made an enormous difference, on my second call day 19 I was promised a call from a GP within 6 hours, literally 3 minutes later a GP called me from Scotland, she gave me excellent advice. I can honestly say that I felt truly cared for and in good hands. I’ve heard on the news the negative reports about 111 but I did not experience this, no waiting or queuing. I will most definitely use this service in the future, in fact I was so impressed I’d go there first before going to my GP. Thank you 111 you were AMAZING!
