"Fantastic care"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Acute Receiving Unit (Units 1-5) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Breathing and lung problems (Respiratory Wards 7a, 7b, 7c & 7d)

(as the patient),

I had an asthma attack and self presented at the ED at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and was taken straight into resus for treatment. The staff nurse Kerry and Registrar Kat were fantastic with me, making sure I knew what was happening when it was happening. Once I was stabilised I was moved to ARU 1 for admission, nursing staff were great and consultant Dr Joe decided to admit me to the 7th floor. I was admitted to 7D and all the staff and students were amazing! SHO Eilidh was very good at keeping me up to date and all the nursing staff were amazing.
