"Thank you for the support and expertise"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Sincere thanks to the two Paramedics for their expertise and support in getting me on my feet after spending 30 hours on a floor with a severe back spasm.   Further thanks to A& E staff in Monklands including the Physio for her expert guidance enabling me to walk with confidence.   👏👏🌈

Dear Lescg99,

Oh my goodness, I can't imagine how terrible that must have been! I'm pleased to hear that you're back on your feet and walking with confidence, so will the staff who treated you.

I'll certainly pass on your thanks to the staff in the Emergency Department including the physio.

Keep moving (safely) and keep well.

Kind regards

Thankyou for taking the time to let us know about your experience in Monklands A and E.

I cant begin to imagine how frightening being on the floor for a prolonged period of time must have been.

I am pleased the Physiotherapist was able to give you confidence and help you start moving again.

I will pass on your feedback to the Physio team working within the A and E department.

Wishing you a swift recovery....... and keep moving!

Carolyn

Dear Lescg99,

Thank you very much for taking the time to put share your feedback here on CareOpinion. I am sorry to learn of your experience. 30 hours on the floor with back spasms sounds awful. I am so sorry to read that. I hope that you are feeling a lot better now?

It is lovely during this time to hear such kind words. It would appear our crew and our parterres in the wider NHS have done a grand job for you to see a positive in what must have been an experience you will quickly want to forget.

I hope you are keeping well and are home safe and sound.

I wish you all the best.

Kind Regards

Alan
