"Not help EPU staff"

About: Barnet Hospital

I was told if I have any issues or concerns to call the EPU after my miscarriage. I called as I was concerned that I had started bleeding again even though I had a scan to say all products had gone and the bleeding had stopped.

The lady I spoke to was not helpful are reassuring just kept telling me to take a pregnancy test and would not explain why it was happening. As I have never had a miscarriage before I do not k ow what to expect. This is not the first time the staff EPU have been rude and rush me on the phone and in person.

The staff need more training in how to communicate with patients. Awful staff!

Hello

Thank you for taking time to leave feedback, I am sorry for the care you describe and have forwarded you feedback to the Consultant midwife. She will look into the issues you raise so we can learn from it going forward.

Kind Regards

Richard
