Was admitted to Cardiology from CAU for short stay, was seen straight away by Cardiology Consultant Dr Shearer who informed I was to have a CT angiogram moreorless straight away and she explained every single detail of what would take place.

After CT was completed Dr Shearer took a lot of time to explain results in a very easy to understand manner and also change in medication and the benefit this would have. Also a big thanks to all the staff on the ward, but hope they don’t mind if I single out Care assistant Alex for providing my feet with cosy slip proof socks! the care I received was first class and the rooms given to patients were spotless, meals were delicious especially the macaroni cheese! Again many thanks to all.

Cardiology has a great team of doctors, nursing staff and Care Assistants

I'm delighted by your very positive experience with us in Forth Valley. We are especially proud of recent developments in our CT service and I know Dr Shearer will be very pleased to hear what a big difference she was able to make for you. Your feedback highlights not only the importance of accessing the test but how important it is to have good information and advice before and after the test. I'll be sure to let Dr. Shearer how much you appreciated her care.

You also mention our wider ward team without whom we couldn't deliver our services - you rightly note that a clean environment, good food and cosy feet are very important elements of getting well again! I'll make sure I pass on your kind words to Alex and the team.

thanks for your response Dr Labinjoh.. I couldn’t praise your Cardiology team enough for the care I received.. God forbid I’ll need their care again too soon.. but.. if I do. I’ll have complete confidence in the whole department
