I was sent to A& E after my husband had rang 111 after he had spoken to someone he was told that my gp would ring me up and that it could take up to 2 hours as they were very busy, which I can fully understand. About two minutes later my phone rang and it was the gp, after all the questions they asked me if my husband could take me to A& E and could he go to the gp's to get a letter. So we went to get the letter then went to A& E where they were waiting for me, they give me a mask to wear then took me around the back exit where I had to say goodbye to my husband, again I fully understand why. Then the doctors took bloods and asked me lots of questions and took me for an X-ray after which they put me on a ventilator which helped with my breathing. When my bloods came back the doctor said he was sorry but he would have to take blood from my arteries, which he did then he came back and said sorry again but he needed to redo the test. I wasn't happy as it's very painful but I agreed and he then came back and explained why I was so dizzy and light headed and had no energy. I was aloud home but I need to go back in soon but I was so happy that the doctors had finally found out what is wrong with me after six months of going back and to the doctors. The A& E department did a fantastic job and I thank them very much
"Fantastic job at A&E"
