About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

This evening I experienced a sudden eye pain. I was advised to go to emergency department after calling 111, and on arrival was immediately sent to eye casualty. The nurse over the phone took my details and after I answered my questions the on call doctor was called. After a short wait, she arrived and I was checked and sorted with a treatment and told I was correct to come. Well done to both the 111 line on advising me to come, and the prompt and efficient service I received, despite the extra stress hospitals are under in these times.
