"Given the current climate the staff were fantastic"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Whilst out running this morning I felt a pop in my knee. Instantly followed by a crack at the top of my shin. The pain was horrendous. I had no choice but to visit wishaw generals emergency department. All I can say is......Wow. Given the current climate the staff were fantastic. From the reception staff to the porters to radiology to the nurses and doctors and domestic staff. I'll even include the physio. Grudgingly though. Cause she cause me more pain. I'm kidding, they were all great. NHS staff take a bow. Turns out I done my front anterior cruciate ligament. Now on crutches and not happy. But the codeine should help 😁

Dear C4ris,

Ouch! It's a lovely day for a run as well! Delighted to hear that you attended the Emergency Department, the right thing to have done,

Thanks for taking the time to recognise the professionalism of all the different staff you encountered on your visit; health provision is a massive team effort.

It will be my pleasure to share your praise with the staff concerned, but please, take care on your crutches and follow the advice from the physio.

I wish you well with your rest, recuperation and rehabilitation.

Kind regards
