My son has been on the list for a 12 week or more rehabilitation after a back operation went wrong & he has limited use of his legs now .
He has a functional neurological disorder & his mental health is suffering to an extreme due to being mostly bed bound & isolated except for Carers & myself (mum).
He is 27 .
The wait to get into this facility is way too long for some one so young & he will be in worse condition nearly 2 years later from when he was assessed nearly 2 years ago . Maudesley is our only hope of him getting any proper professional help , birthday hope is dwindling each day he has to wait for a place
