"Disgraceful "

My first experience was about two years ago. My initial assessment ended up lasting a few sessions which is understandable because my life has been very complex. I was then told to await a letter in the post which will have an appt date on to start the therapy. This never arrived. I phoned to chase it. They apologised and said they’re posting it for me now. It never arrived but interestingly, what did arrive was a letter to say I’d missed an appt and will be discharged from services.

This time round in 2020, I had an over the phone initial appt where I was very honest and explained things. I received a letter in the post today telling me I’m being discharged from services because I’m a risk and that I should go to anger management. Things on the report were also factually incorrect. I had not refused medications. This is appalling. I have been diagnosed with BPD by a psychiatrist. I have been managing my anger for several years and haven’t acted out. I have bad thoughts but I’ve controlled myself. This is what I was saying on the phone! I asked for help because I don’t want to start acting on my thoughts when I’ve done so well to hold back so far. This was the final straw. Adios.
