"This has to be the worst GP service in the UK"

Not for the first time, I have been let down by this practice. trying to get am appointment is almost impossible. I had to visit Bridgwater MIU twice in two days and was told to see my GP ASAP as my blood pressure was too high. When I did speak to a GP at the practice, I was told that the MIU equipment was probably not working correctly and to go to Taunton A&E. It was only after my second visite to the Bridgwater MIU and the staff calling the practice did they give me an appointment. I have now been keeping a blood pressure diary for two weeks as asked to by the GP and have emailed this information to the practice, however, when I have called them to speak to the doctor, all I get are more delaying tactics from the receptionist. Very disappointed with the service.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you feel that you have been let down by the practice. At the current time due to covid-19 we do not have routine bookable appointments, instead we are offering same day telephone appointments. Patients are asked to telephone in on the day they need to speak to someone and they will be booked a telephone appointment that day. We also have online consulting available through the practice website which also allows patients to request advice from their GP.

I am sure you can appreciate that we are working in very difficult times and are doing our upmost to keep our patients and staff safe from covid-19. If you still require advice, please go to our website and complete the online consulting, or telephone the practice and ask to speak to the Practice Manager.
