"Fantastic care"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Short Stay Surgery

(as a service user),

Being a nurse, I never thought I would be on the other side as a patient any time soon. Admitted to ward 211, then 208 during a time of uncertainty,I was felt reassured and relaxed at the kindness, compassion and professionalism of all staff, from portering, HCSWs, to staff nurses and medical staff. Massive well done also to get dental nurses redeployed to help.

Although my stay was brief (thankfully), I wanted to express how greatful I am to them. Keep going and stay safe ! #proudtobenhsg!

Dear LD9595

Many, many thanks for taking the time to post your feedback on Care Opinion. It is great to hear that, in these uncertain times, the essence of caring remains intact.

We will ensure your kind words are passed on to the wards and the staff groups you mention.

We are all doing things we never thought we would be doing and the Dental Nurses have been brilliant.

Many thanks again. Stay safe!
