Three weeks ago I underwent major surgery on my ankle at Sunderland Royal Hospital... my care on Ward 48D was stressful in view of the Corona-virus, however the nurses were helpful..
My reason for my review is that whist in hospital I had a cast put on by Dave and his colleagues in the Plaster Room.... I would just like to say it was my first time having a cast on and I was feeling very nervous... the atmosphere was fantastic... they made me feel so relaxed and even made me laugh... I have recently returned to the Plaster Room to have another cast applied and I was not at all frightened of the process and once again a fantastic service from Dave and his colleague especially working long hours during this awful time... Well Done guys !!!
"Fantastic Service from the team"
