"A&E vs Formula One pit stop."

About: Warrington Hospital

I went to A&E with a nasty cut on my arm from an accident at work. Because I was not in with any Covid 19 symptoms i got sent straight to the fracture ward that was acting as support to A&E during these challenging times. I had two nurses waiting for me to clean my wound, a surgeon who gave me a local aesthetic then stitched me up ten minutes later with the nurses waiting to clean and dress it as a junior doctor came in to give me a tb booster jab. From start to finish it took less than half an hour and I was completely shocked at how fast I was dealt with after previous experiences. It’s good to see that during a time of crisis that you have got it together. I thank you for your care today and wish you luck with this crisis. What a professional team x
