"Excellent care"

About: Conquest Hospital

On 24th March was sent to Radiology by my GP for suspected DVT -in left leg, was seen by Julian who diagnosed a cyst, Bakers cyst I think. He was very efficient and I thank him very much for his kindness and skills. I thank ALL your doctors nurses and all staff at your hospital. And we clapped you last night too!!

Dear Roger,

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a lovely and positive piece of feedback regarding your recent episode of care at Conquest Hospital; we really appreciate it, particularly at this difficult and challenging time for us all.

The Trust is very proud of the high standards of care it provides to patients, which has recently been reaffirmed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who have awarded us a rating of “Outstanding” for care and “Outstanding” for effectiveness of services; it is therefore very assuring to read from your comments that you had an excellent standard of care from Julian, and found him to be kind and skilful.

We will ensure your generous words of praise are shared with Julian and his senior managers as they will want to read how much you appreciated the care provided. We hope you have had, or will shortly have, any further treatment that may have been recommended to treat the cyst, and wish you good health for the future Roger.

And finally, thank you so much for clapping – the display of support for and kindness towards NHS staff has been overwhelming, and we cannot thank you all enough. It means the world to us 
