"Unbelievable care"

About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

I have just been discharged after spending 6 days as an in patient following an operation. From the support before during and to my discharge I have received nothing but high standards of expertise, compassion and care. I was on post care op for a day and the on ward C18a, where every single member of the team (and they are a genuine team) worked so hard to make me feel well again. I also include blood labs, pharmacy , Cleaners, food service etc Obviously there are extra pressures these days and all the staff have their own personal issues, but they always put the patients first. We truly do take them all for granted but perhaps when all this over, we will continue to show genuine appreciation.
