"Extremely thoughtful and professional staff"

About: East Midlands Ambulance Service NHS Trust / Emergency ambulance Lincoln County Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

Had heart palpitations and was rushed into Lincoln. From the paramedics, to consultants the whole staff were caring, considerate and kind making my stay bearable under difficult circumstances. The nurses were extremely thoughtful and professional in every way looking after me and other patients with compassion. The support staff where also friendly and polite, however hopefully I won't have to book a second visit. Amazing People.

Dear Bmac,

So sorry to hear you were having heart palpitations, and I am glad that you have been looked after. Fantastic that you have felt so supported. As the chaplain I really feel that compassion at this time especially, is so needed, and our staff responding to you so positively and with professionalism is heart-warming to hear. I am so pleased that you have been looked after. Thank you for taking the time to write to us. No lets hope there wont be any second visits! stay well!

Dear Bmac,

Thank you for taking the time to share your kind words with me about our ambulance crew and I am so pleased to hear you are well on the road to recovery.

If you are able, we would appreciate you sharing your comments with our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) team, with as much detail as you can (e.g. date, time and location), so that they might identify the crew who cared for you and share your words with them. You may contact them via telephone on 0333 012 4216 or email emas.pals@nhs.net.

Best wishes,

Brian Jaffrey
