"I could not have wished for greater care"

I went to Pilgrim Hospital as I was showing some of the signs that suggest I had, had a stroke. On presentation was given priority over one other patient in the waiting room to go to the triage staff. She took her time and reassured me throughout the process and took me to the treatment room. Within minutes I had put on the monitors, the consultant and sister from the stroke ward were directing the treatment and asking questions about what had happened. Within 5 or six minutes I was given medication directly into my vein and to reduce my severely high blood pressure. Within a further 5 minutes taken for a CT scan and taken directly from their to the stroke ward. In these desperate times with the Coronavirus I could not have wished for or received greater care from all the staff I came into contact with during my stay. I having nothing but very high praise for everyone who had a hand in my care and I would like you to pass on my sincere thanks to everyone concerned over the two days. Thank you very much for the outstanding way you cared for me.
