"We love The Corner Surgery!"

The Corner Surgery has looked after the health of our family exceptionally over the last 19 years. After 2005, when I underwent a kidney surgery, they always make sure to call me every year to remind me to make an appointment for a flu jab. In the Autumn of 2008, the nurse called me for this annual appointment and when she realised I had just turned 50, she offered a mammogram as a birthday gift. This gift turned out to be a blessing from The Corner Surgery, as the scan showed a tiny lump and, given the early discovery of my breast cancer, I did not need to undergo chemotherapy but instead solely 10 radiotherapy sessions. Thanks to this gift from The Corner Surgery, I have been able to live a healthy and wonderful life with my family for the past 12 years. We are also grateful how the doctors, nurses and receptionist treat patients like members of the community, and are always happy to provide a helping hand - particularly with our language barriers, being native Spanish speakers.
