"Simple blood test"

Need an INR blood test at least once a month-these are no longer offered by The surgery in Aldeburgh who have referred me to Ipswich.I am 83 and have a heart condition.The receptionist told me that they want to protect their staff but wherever the blood is taken there will be the same risk to the clinician.What about the patient who has to drive 60 miles refuel the car and could have an accident???
