(as a service user),

I had been terrified to call the GP practice during the COVID-19 pandemic but with my daughter showing all the signs of a UTI, I had no choice. The phone was answered promptly and politely. I left details with the receptionist and Dr Box called back with 10 minutes. He took details, prescribed treatment. This all took place around 17: 00 and the local pharmacy (which is usually chaotic) dispensed medicines by 17: 30. I can’t praise Linlithgow Medical Practice enough, they always excel.

Thank you very much for getting in touch with us regarding your experiences with Linlithgow Medical Practice and your daughter's care.

It is lovely to hear how the Practice dealt with your call so that you were able to get a prompt telephone triage call from Dr Box which resulted in the pharmacy being able to prescribe the medication so quickly. It is a challenging time for everyone at the moment so it really it lovely to hear such positive feedback as yours.

I have shared your kind words with the practice who I am sure will be delighted to read your post and thank you again for getting in touch. I do hope your daughter if feeling better.
