"First Class Treatment"

About: Leigh Infirmary

I first visited the Urology Department at Leigh hospital early March 2019. I was told I needed surgery which was carried out at Wigan Infirmary later that month. I underwent a check up at Wigan Infirmary late October 2019 and have been seen at both Leigh and Wigan outpatient Departments since. I am now awaiting further surgery at Wigan Infirmary following a second recent check up.

I can honestly say that I have found all of the staff who have looked after me to be very professional, knowledgeable and understanding. I have been treated with respect and courtesy throughout. Whilst further surgery is something I don't want, I am far less nervous this time around and can place my confidence in the Urology Team and all the other medical staff at the Infirmary. The admin staff in the Urology Department also deserve a mention. Everything has been dealt with efficiently and effectively with plenty of notice for appointments. I honestly could not ask for a better service. Thank you.
