"Great experience at the 👁 Clinic on 19/02/20"

About: Royal Free Hospital

When I attended my most recent appointment at the 👁 clinic on 19/02/20. I was a very positive experience expecially when I saw my consultant and explained about eye movementsthat I've been having since late Sept '19 and I said that I wasn't sure if there were linked to my Nystagmus, at this point my consultant said that he thought that the eye movements were intermittent, not linked to my Nystagmus anf nothing to worry about. After this he seeked to reassure me by examining my eyes using a slit lamp to check for the Nystagmus and he then told me that all the nystagmoid movements had stopped completely. When he told me this I was ecstatic. Please can you tell my consultant how incredible and how thankful I am for all his in going care which is amazing and I think It's fair to say I'd be totally lost without him. Can you tell him this from me please?

Dear Nikki,

Thank you for taking the time to post a comment regarding your experience of the eye clinic. We recognise that quite some time has elapsed since you left your review, but we did not want to leave your comment unacknowledged.

We would be happy to pass your thanks onto your consultant if this is something you'd still like us to do. Please email his name to rf.patientexperience@nhs.net
