"Being in hospital after my stroke"

About: Cameron Hospital / Recovery & rehabilitation Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 1 (Emergency Medical) Victoria Hospital / Stroke

(as the patient),

Went to ward 41 Victoria Hospital. I hated every minute of it as they are so under staffed. Nurses do not seem to have time for necessary care.

After one week I was transferred to Letham Ward Cameron, and you could feel there was such a caring attitude. All of the staff are good at Cameron. They are more to be described as a happy family. My first week I was introduced to The Activities Coordinator which helped with boredom. The Physio I received was first class from very experienced Phyios. who managed to get the best out of me. Letham works as a team. When I mentioned it to a staff member, they said that’s because "we are all for one and all for one".

Many thanks for your kind words about Letham Ward and the team of staff who work there. The staff pride themselves on providing high quality, patient centred care and are cheered and motivated by your feedback.
