Went into Lincoln hospital for a TURBT procedure on a Wednesday they took the catheter out on the Thursday. After about an hour I had a funny turn so they put the catheter back in for another 24hrs, on the Friday the doctor said to leave it in for another 24 hrs even though I was in pain, by the night time I was in agony and the nursing staff gave me morphine to cope. On the Saturday no doctor came to authorize the removal of it even though the nursing staff was phoning round all day to get one as they could see my extreme pain. It was removed on the Sunday. Now 10 days later I'm virtually house bound as cannot go far from a toilet due to being virtually incontinent. Now I am contacting my own doctor to see what can be done.
