"Professional care"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

I attended Radiography for a CT colonography. The explanation of what would happen and how my body may react was fully explained to me. Throughout, my dignity was maintained and I was treated with respect.

I did find one of the toilets in need of attention, it apparently had last been checked 4 days previously! However, I noted a number of staff cleaning equipment in different areas.

Thank you for leaving feedback. It will mean a great deal to the Radiography Department to know that you felt supported and cared for as this is what they aim to achieve.

We are sorry that you found one of the toilets to not be in a clean condition as the domestic team strive to ensure all our facilities are cleaned on a frequent and ongoing basis. If you wish to provide any further details about this, please do not hesitate to contact our Patient advice and Liaison Service who will be pleased to assist, by email at:

sth.pals@nhs.net

Please note that due to the current and ongoing situation we will endeavour to respond as soon as possible, but may not be able to do so as quickly as we usually would.

With thanks and best wishes
