"Awful service"

About: Royal Bolton Hospital

The reason for this score was solely due to the way my partners issue was dealt with by the doctor. The doctor was not empathetic whatsoever.

My partner was in agonising pain crying as she passed urine in the A&E toilets, I had to go and call a nurse who gave her some reassuring words and offered to get painkillers but did not come back.

When my partner was finally seen, the doctor was speaking to her as though there was nothing wrong. It felt as though to the doctor she was just a number and not an actual human being who was suffering with pain.

We will avoid the Bolton A&E department at all costs! Would rather travel further to an alternative hospital, maybe their doctors would be more empathetic.
