In jan 2019 I was referred to cardiology by my gp as I had a very very low heart rate On arrival at kmh I was thoroughly checked out over next 24 hours. The specialist discussed the options with me and decided to operate and insert a microchip in my chest area to monitor my heart rate over a longer period. In July 2019 I was contacted after the microchip forwarded 30 + messages and so it was decided I needed a pacemaker. This was fitted sept 2019 and 2 further visits to cardiology resulted in me requiring an electric shock to align my heart rythem This was done yesterday mar 9. And thankfully it was successfull. I cannot thank kmh enough, the cardiology clinics. Cardiology wards ,cardiology nurse and her team. Well done you were all brilliant over the whole 15 month process
"Fantastic care"
