The care I received throughout my pregnancy and during my elective caesarean section was amazing.
My baby was delivered in February 2020 by Dr McKenzie. My third Caesarean section. This one was different, the staff in theatre that day made my birth such a positive experience. I saw my baby being born, was able to have lots of skin to skin and some wonderful photographs too.
I would like to thank each member of staff that was involved in my care that day and the following days too. Also, the staff I saw on a Monday at Dr Owen's clinic - especially a wonderful midwife named Lorraine who took such great care of me when I was suspected of having Obstetric cholestasis. I was indeed diagnosed with the condition, Lorraine kept an eye on my blood test results and even came to see me on the post natal ward.
After being diagnosed my birth plan changed, caesarean brought forward and blood taken weekly, medication given, it was a scary time but the staff at the PRM gave me the best possible care.
A massive thank you from me, my new baby boy and the rest of our family.
"I would like to thank each member of staff"
