"All other departments have been good except the…"

About: Weston Park Hospital

The ward are not as efficient as the other departments. You don't get your medication on time, nobody reads your notes, no control or ownership. The doctors and nurses don't communicate with each other, as a result the care for the patient is not correct. Left hours waiting for pain relief, had t go on oral antibiotics and was left on IV. Bloods should have been carried out daily and after 3 days they realised they needed to do this and woke me up at 4am to carry this out. It took them a week to realise the antiobiotics are not working, and to advise i need a blood transfusion despite saying my blood levels are very low. Alot of improvement is required on the ward's.
