"Wheelchair services phone call"

About: Bromley Healthcare / Wheelchair and special seating

(as a service user),

Someone from this service rang my home number which I have asked them not to ring and they have my mobile number. They insisted I attend an appointment to handover and collect new chair. I explained I couldn't push my new wheelchair home whilst in my powerchair so they told me they would take my powerchair away from me!

My powerchair is privately funded and is the only way I can maintain some I dependence.     Phone call left me in tears.

Dear C091202

I am sorry to hear of your experience with the wheelchair service, I would really like to look into what has happened, so would you be able to send me some details so that I can investigate this. Please could you send me your name, address and date of birth to the following email address Bromh.complaints@nhs.net.

Best wishes

Suzie
